Welcome to Hembrough Custom Hatching where the customer is family and quality always comes before quantity. We offer a select range of birds ranging from Meat Turkeys, Sexed layer pullets and the famous Giant Cornish Broilers! We also offer other products from the farm ranging from Sourdough Starter, Canning, Tallow & More.
What sets us apart? All chicks are held for 3 days before leaving our barns. This ensures your chicks are started off right. They receive their vitamins and are carefully monitored before heading to their new homes. We take the dead-loss so you don’t have to!
Our Story
Hembrough Custom Hatching was founded back in 2017 when we started a Facebook page with our two little giant incubators. With Wayne’s farming experience and Keshia’s years of genetics experience, we thought why not! Since then our little family company has blown up and expanded to 5 distributors stationed all over Alberta and our chicks reaching into BC and Saskatchewan.
Keshia is always busy creating new things. If she’s not whipping up wonderful face tallow, she’s busy canning something or running around chasing the 3 future chicken tenders!
Wayne not only farms, but also drives truck. Having to work to support the farming habit! But no matter where he is, he is always around to answer any questions you may have or just to have a chat!
