The orlopp bronze turkey is a broad breasted turkey that is calm and gentle and has an excellent meat quality due to the natural fat layering that develops. Under its gorgeous feathers is a plump robust bird. The orlopp is the top choice for its flavour and the most grand of occasions. 
While the Orlopp Bronze is the top choice for any big occasion and their health is far superior to the broad breasted whites, these birds will not naturally reproduce easily due to their size, without human intervention. The dark feathering does make getting pin feathers out, a bit harder than the whites.
